Teletower Training
This equipment is used as a compact Telescopic Tower that folds out and can be fully set up within 5 minutes, with the correct training for use.
It fits in a small van and is versatile and ideal for smaller working spaces.
Our training course lasts around 4-5 hours with a theory and practical session and will provide a certifiate that will remain valid for 5 years.
We can take up to 8 delegates per course and deliver on your site, using your equipment, to ensure your staff are famiiar with the actual equipment you have.

This course is designed for individuals who inspect and erect Teletower and is delivered to the Zarges Training Standard, and is ideal if you work on your own site.

Health & Safety
All facilities must meet health and safety requirements:
• Clear fire and emergency evacuation procedures must be available.
• Appropriate first aid resources must be available for the duration of the course – please ensure that theinstructor is aware of a nominated first aider. Any planned fire alarm tests need to be communicated to the Instructor prior to commencement of the course.
Car Parking
The instructor will need to travel by car due to the amount of equipment required to complete the course.
Therefore, parking must be available onsite, please see details below:
• Parking must be close to the point of training.
Training Room
• The training room should have a 240volt power supply and adequate space for the instructor to set up a projector and laptop. Additionally, a suitable table or desk will be required for the laptop and projector.
• A screen/TV Monitor or light coloured wall will need to be available to project onto.
• Tables and chairs for trainees and instructor.
• The training room should be well lit, appropriately ventilated or heated according to its size.
• Uninterrupted and exclusive use of the room for the entirety of theory section of the course.
• We will NOT accept canteens or tea rooms as a training room.
Practical Area
• A practical area (preferably indoors) should have adequate space to build the Teletower to its maximum height (4M Minimum, which equals 2M platform height plus 2M working height).
• The surface of the training area should be firm and level and capable of supporting the Teletower safely when elevated.
• The training area must be well lit, free of overhead hazards such as craneage and power lines, free of debris and obstacles that may impede training.
• If the training is to take place outside, the practical maybe cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions are judged to be unsafe or unsuitable to continue. This is at the sole discretion of the instructor and will be at a cost to the customer.
• The area should be cordoned off, free from pedestrian/vehicular traffic and from excessive noise to ensure that the instructor can be heard and understood clearly.
• Must be available for the whole of the practical session without interruption.
Equipment
You will need to supply a complete Teletower (including Toe boards) and the Manufacturers Instruction Manual. If this is a new Teletower, castors are required to be in place prior to the training commencing.
• If more than 12 months, there must be available a current inspection record
• All Teletowers must have the manufacturer’s instruction manual accessible to the instructor and candidates. If required, we can provide this where it has been requested prior to the training date
• PPE
All candidates must bring the following PPE:
• Hard hat or bump cap
• All PPE specified in the company policy as required.
